A Disease Called Gay

I wonder why we’re trying, why it matters to the world
Equality is nice but there are boudaries to be heard
You see, our love is different, our love is not okay
Our gender is the same, it’s a disease called gay
It’s clear this is not natural, it’s something that we chose
Cos God would never do something so abnormal, so gross
And sure, we can’t get married, it’s a small price to pay
For our lifestyle with a challenge, a disease called gay
And sure, it can be hard sometimes, but tears will always fall
But we can’t expect some sympathy, that order’s sorta tall
After all, this is the call we made, we chose to go this way
It’s a phase we will get through, this disease called gay
Getting children is impossible, our genitals don’t fit
In each other and we can’t adopt a homeless, lonely kid
Who isn’t waiting for a family like ours anyway
What if they get exposed to this disease called gay
We don’t seem like the smartest bunch to expose ourselves to this
You would think that life’s already hard enough as it is
We let ourselves get hit and kicked, called names, humiliated
Outlaws of love, the second best, but we never would have traded
This life to be someone we’re not and at least I can say
I’ve found the one, another one
With that disease called gay
